Fans Treated to Impromptu Kanye West Concert Aboard Plane

Passengers aboard a Delta Airlines flight from Minneapolis to NYC literally experienced the coolest night of their collective lives Nov. 5 when they were treated to a surprise performance by Mr. Kanye West. A passenger tells HollywoodLife.com that Kanye, who was seated in First Class, came on the loud speaker about 30 minutes into the flighI had to pass through First Class to get my seat in Economy, and I saw Kanye sitting there with a little drink in his hand,” t and rapped family-friendly versions of “The Good Life” and “Gold Digger.”
“the passenger recalls. “I wouldn’t have even thought it was him, but he was sitting with a very PR-looking lady.”
Needless to say, everyone freaked out when they heard Kanye’s voice over the loudspeaker 30 minutes later.
“He was like, ‘Yo, this your n***a, Kanye,’” the passenger says. “Then he couldn’t decide if he wanted to do ‘The Good Life’ or ‘Gold Digger,’ so he was like, ‘I’ll just do a little bit of both.’ It was awesome… but I still have no idea how he got into the cockpit.”
But the most surprising part of the whole flight, the passenger tells us, is that Kanye wasn’t the first person to get off:
“He filed out in line with everyone else, and I thought that was pretty cool. Especially for Kanye.”

Quote Of The Day: 50 Cent On Diddy

You know how an ugly b*tch always has pretty friends. That's how he built his group. He wants to be the hot b*tch in the group...he wants to make sure the n*ggas wanna holla at him...he'll tell you himself that what happens in Miami stays in Miami…” *ouch*
Rumor is that the recent beef between the two arose from Diddy aligning himself with 50's rival Rick Ross and forming a super-group with Ross using the name "The Supreme Team" which coincidentally is also the name of the Queens, NY crew that 50 had an on-going beef with. Diddy has since changed the group's name to "The Dream Team"....

Story/Tweet Of The Day: Lindsay Lohan Punched By A Waitress

Lindsay Lohan was punched by a waitress at L.A. club Voyeur early Friday morning — her 24th birthday.
A waitress just hit me – punched me for no reason,” the actress Twittered around 1 a.m. PT.
A witness tells UsMagazine.com that Lohan — who sipped Red Bulls and hid her SCRAM bracelet with thigh-high boots — wasn’t exaggerating.
The waitress has a history with Doug Reinhardt, and Lohan was hanging out with him. She was jealous, and out of nowhere, the waitress punched her in the face!” the insider tells Us. “Doug didn’t want any part of it and went to the other side of the booth. Lohan ran out.”
The night didn’t get better from there.
Lohan went to a party at the nearby Rockstar House — and ran into the waitress again!
“Lohan showed up and cried because the waitress was there as well,” says another source. “Some birthday.”

Tell Em Why You Mad Son: Beanie Sigel

Dear Beans,

Before recording another youtube video, ask yourself "Whats worse: being a 40 year old MC or being a grown ass man expecting another man to take care of you?" and see what you come up with.

Thanks

Antonio Villaraigosa Free Tickets Are Worth $50,000 to $100,000

UPDATE Exclusive: Antonio Villaraigosa free tickets are worth $50,000 to $100,000. Full list here of 80 free events; corruption laws ignored.

L.A. Weekly is publishing below its exclusive ticket price list for the 80 events to which Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa accepted free seats.
Villaraigosa lost or threw away paperwork showing who gave him the freebies, how many tickets he accepted to each show, ceremony or game, and the value of free alcohol, food and valet parking he was provided.
His take is worth $50,000 to $100,000 or more, the Weeklyhas found. (For more on the blowback to this scandal, see our story, "Villaraigosa's Five-Year Free Ticket Spree," posting at laweekly.com today, June 23, around 4 p.m.)
City and state political anticorruption laws require disclosure of gifts. Records must be kept. Villaraigosa can't accept more than $100 annually from anyone doing business with L.A. He can't take more than $420 per year unless he performs official duties at the venue in question.
Our "Antonio Villaraigosa List of 80 Free Tickets" on the next page appears to show violations of those laws.

New Era Of The White House: Talk Slick, Get Fired.

Patraeus To Replace McChrystal As Commanding Officer

WASHINGTON—U.S. President Barack Obama accepted the resignation of the top U.S. commander and strategist of the Afghan war of his command Wednesday.Gen. David Petraeus, the head of the military's Central Command and the architect of the surge of forces into Iraq in 2007, will take over as the commanding general in Afghanistan, Mr. Obama said.
The shakeup followed comments by Gen. Stanley McChrystal and his aides disparaging the president, his national security team, and U.S. allies.
The decision to put Gen. Petraeus in command sends a signal that the president stands behind the counterinsurgency tactics pushed hard by Gen. McChrystal and championed by Gen. Petraeus.
Mr. Obama said his acceptance of Gen. McChrystal's recommendation didn't reflect a disagreement about strategy or personal insult. "We are in full agreement about our strategy," he said Wednesday, expressing "great admiration" for the general.
"But war is bigger than any one man," Mr. Obama said. He said the change was necessary to maintain a "unity of effort" in Afghanistan. "I welcome debate among my team, but I won't tolerate division."
The switch comes at a crucial time in the war: Thousands of troops are pouring into Afghanistan ahead of a planned operation in Kandahar that is seen as central to the campaign. The balance of surge forces are to arrive by August
Technically, as combatant commander in the military region that includes Afghanistan and the Middle East, Gen. Petraeus was Gen. McChrystal's commanding officer.
By agreeing to take command, Gen. Petraeus himself was showing resolve to see the counterinsurgency effort through in Afghanistan.
Gen. McChrystal, 55, faced a barrage of criticism from top U.S. officials for mocking his civilian bosses and administration colleagues in a magazine article.
Some of his strongest advocates failed to jump to his defense after copies of the profile in Rolling Stone, titled "The Runaway General," circulated ahead of its publication Friday.
