Eminem’s Recovery On Pace To Sell 700K Units Sold

Original estimates earlier in the week had Eminem’s Recovery tracking at moving 600K+ units in first week sales. Now it looks like Em’s album will really bring a recovery to the entire industry as new projections are going as high as 700K.Billboard states:

Sources now estimate “Recovery” will rack up the biggest sales week for a single album in more than 18 months, as it should sell in excess of 700,000 by week’s end on Sunday, June 27.

If these numbers hold, Recovery will have the best week in sales since waaay back in 2008 when AC/DC’s “Black Ice” debuted with 784,000. Welcome back Slim Shady.
